2023 | Justworks Brand Refresh
Justworks introduced a mini rebrand in 2020 in collaboration with brand studio Order and type foundry Colophon, which included a new logo, color palette, and typeface. The in-house creative team took it upon ourselves to build upon the existing brand assets by expanding the color system, adding shapes derived from the negative space in our logo, create an icon and texture library, and more! These additions allowed us to curate landing pages for specific audiences: accountants, payroll, and international customers and prospects.
I led the design direction by using existing projects as opportunities to explore. Below, there is an evolution of the accountants landing page that shows how each stage was a moment to explore and iterate. With guidance and helpful feedback from the team, I was quickly able to eliminate explorations that weren’t as impactful and versatile. As I solidified key elements, fellow designers were able to apply them across different brand touch points, helping us build a more cohesive and expressive visual language. By the end of the project, we introduced an updated brand book that spanned from our brand tone and voice, product offerings, and visual elements.
